So by now you have already learned that insects kind of rule our world. Estimates suggest that up to 80% of the known species on our planet are arthropods. So how long has this been the case, and what does it mean? Will our future world have insects? Did dinosaurs suffer from parasites such as mosquitoes or lice?
- Why would scientists claim that our world is ruled by arthropods?
- How quickly have insects evolved? What allowed them to do so?
- What changes on our planet could we attribute to insect evolution?
